Preparing for a DFM / DFA review

Which files should I provide?

Please provide Gerber or ODB++ data, drill files, stackup, fabrication drawings, BOM, pick-and-place data and assembly drawings. Schematics and 3D mechanical files are helpful for a deeper review.

When should the review be performed?

The best time is before final release and purchase commitment. An early review can also be completed during layout so major constraints are addressed before routing is finished.

Can you review designs that will be built by another factory?

Yes. We can review against your nominated supplier’s capabilities or general industry rules, provided their specific manufacturing constraints are available.
